TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM | Power led off and no sound |
CAUSE | Power cord incorrectly inserted and/or amplifier switched off |
REMEDY | Check that cord is inserted both in the amplifier’s mains socket and in |
| the wall AC outlet and that the switch is in the “ON” position |
CAUSE | Mains fuses burnt out |
REMEDY | Check the fuses in the fuse holders (unplug cord from mains first!) next |
| to the special 16 Amp socket and eventually replace with same type |
SYMPTOM | Power led red and no sound |
CAUSE | Amplifier in standby |
REMEDY | Press standby button to exit the standby mode |
SYMPTOM | Power led green and no sound |
CAUSE | Mute activated |
REMEDY | Press mute button on the remote to deactivate mute |
CAUSE | Volume knob turned completely anticlockwise |
REMEDY | Turn volume knob clockwise |
CAUSE | Source not propectly selected |
REMEDY | Choose the correct option with the source selector |
CAUSE | Source not connected or off or faulty signal cables |
REMEDY | Check source and cables |
CAUSE | Speaker cables not correctly connected or faulty |
REMEDY | Check and connect speaker cable properly |
SYMPTOM | Recording is not possible |
CAUSE | Source not properly selected |
REMEDY | Choose the correct option with the record selector |
CAUSE | Source not connected or off or faulty signal cables |
REMEDY | Check source and cables |
SYMPTOM | Power led flashing red and no sound (Speaker protection circuit active) |
CAUSE | |
REMEDY | Check and connect speaker cables properly |
CAUSE | Severe power amp overload |
REMEDY | Lower the listening volume or check for speaker integrity |
