To log into an appliance:

1.Click the Appliances button in the AVWorks Explorer.

2.Double-click on an appliance from the Unit Selector pane. -or-

Select an appliance, and then click the Manage appliance task button. -or-

Right-click an appliance. A pop-up menu appears. Select Manage appliance. -or-

Click an appliance in the Unit Selector pane and press Enter.

3.A password prompt displays. Type in your username and password. The default username is Admin (case sensitive) with no password.

NOTE: If you previously logged into the appliance during the same AVWorks session, the password prompt will not appear.

4.Click OK to access the appliance. This launches the AMP. For more information about the AMP, see Chapter 4.

Click Cancel to exit without logging in.
