Resetting to the Factory Default Settings
This will reset all parameters, including the IP address, to the Factory Default settings and format the hard disk drive:
1.Press the Factory Setup button on the rear of the unit for 20 seconds while the unit is powered up.
2.When the Status indicator on the front panel displays steady green, which can take up to 3 minutes, the AXIS 262+ has been reset to the factory default settings.

It is also possible to reset parameters to the original factory default settings via the Web interface. For more information, see the online help or the user’s manual.
Important!
Resetting the AXIS 262+ to the factory default settings will also erase all recorded video. If you have recorded video you wish to save, download it from the download tab on the Main View page, before resetting the unit.
