RS-422/485 Slave Port Option

The RS-232 transmit and receive data signals on the Master port will be converted to balanced, full-duplex RS-422 or half-duplex RS-485 signals with this option. The 232D4SS8 comes standard with four RS-485 (2 or 4-wire) slave ports. Refer to Appendix B for cable charts.
