Theperiod of guarantee begins on the date of transfer of risks, in the case of special systems and software on the date of commissioning,
atlatest 30 days after the transfer of risks. Inthe event of justified notice of complaint, Barco can repair the fault or provide a replacement
atits own discre tion within an appropriate period. If this measure proves to be impossible or unsuccessful, the purchaser can demand a
reduction in the purchase price or cancellation ofthe contract. All other claims, in particular those relating to compensation for direct or
indirectdamage, and also damage attributed to the operation of software as well as to other services provided by Barco, being a component
ofthe system or independent service, will be deemed invalid provided the damage is not proven to be attributed to the absence of properties
guaranteed inw ritingo rdue to the intent or gross negligence or part of Barco.
If the purchaser or a third party carries out modifications or repairs on goods delivered by Barco, or if the goods are handled incorrectly,
inparticular if the systems are commissioned operat ed incorrectly or if, after the transfer of risks, the goods are subject to influences not
agreed upon in the contract, all guarantee claims of the purchaser will be rendered invalid. Not included in the guarantee coverage are
systemfailures which are attributed to programs or special electronic circuitry provided by the purchaser, e.g. interfaces. Normal wear as
wellas normal maintenance are not subject to the guarantee provided by Barco either.
Theenvironmental conditions as well as the servicing and maintenance regulations specified in the this manual must be complied with by
the customer.

Youhave acquired a device that includes software licensed by Barco from Microsoft Licensing Inc. or its affiliates (“MS”). Those installed
softwareproducts of M S origin, as wellas associatedmedia, printedmate rials, and “online”or electronicdocumentation (“SOFTWARE”)
areprotected by international intellectual property laws and tr eaties. The SOFTWARE is licensed, not sold. All rights reserved.
IFYOU DO N OT AGREE TOTHIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (“EULA”), DO NOT USE THE DEVICE OR COPY THE SOFT-
WARE.INSTEAD, PROMPTLY CONTACT BARCO FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON RETURN OF THE UNUSED DEVICE(S) FOR A REFUND.

NO WARRANTIES FOR THE SOFTWARE:THE SOFTWARE is provided “AS IS” and with all faults. THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO
SATISFACTORYQUALITY, PERFORMANCE, ACCURACY,AND EFFORT (INCLUDING LACK OF NEGLIGENCE) IS WITH YOU.
ALSO, THERE IS NO WARRANTY AGAINST INTERFERENCE WITH YOUR ENJOYMENT OF THE SOFTWARE OR AGAINST
INFRINGEMENT.IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED ANY WARRANTIES REGARDING THE DEVICE OR THE SOFTWARE, THOSE WAR-
RANTIES DO NOT ORIGINATEFROM, AND ARE NOT BINDING ON, MS.
NoLiabili ty for Certain Damages: EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW,MS AND BARCO SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY FORANY
INDIRECT,SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE
ORPERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE. THIS LIMITATIONSHALL APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL
PURPOSE.IN NO EVENT MS AND BARCO SHALL BE LIABLE FOR AN YAMOUN T IN EXCESS OF U.S. TWO HUNDRED FIFTY
DOLLARS (U.S.$250.00).
Limitationson Reverse Engineering, Deco mpilation, and Disassembly: You may not reverse engineer,d ecompile, or disassem-
ble the SOFTWARE, except and only to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this
limitation.
SOFTWARET RANSFER ALLOWED BUT WITH RESTRICTIONS: Youmay permanently transfer rights under this EULA only as
partof a permanent sale or transfer of the Device, and only if the recipient agrees to this EULA. If the SOFTWARE is an upgrade, any
transferm ust also includeall prior versions of the SOFTWARE.
EXPORTRESTRICTIONS: You acknowledge that SOFTWARE is of US-origin. Youagree to comply with all applicable international
andnational laws that apply to the SOF TWARE,including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations, as well as end-user, end-use
andcountry destination restrictions issued by U.S. and other gove rnments. For additional information on exporting the SOFTWARE,
see http://www.microsoft.com/exporting/.
Installation and Use: The SOFTWARE may not be used by more than two (2) processors at any one time on the DEVICE. You
may permit a maximum of ten (10) computers or other electronic devices (each a “Client”) to connect to the DEVICE to utilize the
servicesof the SOFTWARE solely for file and print services, internet information services, and remote access (including connection
sharing and telephony services). The ten (10) connection maximum includes any indirect connections made through “multiplexing”
or other software or hardware which pools or aggregates connections. Except as otherwise permitted in the NetMeeting/Remote
Assistance/Remote Desktop Features terms below, you may not use a Client to use, access, display or run the SOFTWARE, the
SOFTWARE’suser interface or other executable software residing on the DEVICE.
If you use the DEVICE to access or utilize the services or functionality of Microsoft Windows Server products (such as Microsoft
Windows NT Server 4.0 (all editions) or Microsoft Windows 2000 Server (all editions)), or use the DEVICE to permit workstation or
computing devices to access or utilize the services or functionality of Microsoft Windows Server products, you may be required to
obtaina Client Access License for the Device and/or each such workstation or computing device. Pleaserefer to the end user license
agreement for your Microsoft Windows Server product for additional information.
