BEHRINGER REV2496 QUICK START GUIDE
The
Accessing and Editing ROM and RAM ( ROM=factory, RAM=user ) presets
•Press the ENGINE A button
•Use the Large Data Wheel to select a preset
•Press “OK” to load the program.
•Four “knob” graphics will appear in the lower half of the display
•Turn the four A, B, C, or D edit knobs to adjust parameters. Each hardware knob corresponds to the four ‘virtual’ knobs displayed onscreen.

•Hold down the STORE button while turning on the power to the REV2496.
•Press the OK/TAP button when asked to confirm.
Accessing the I/O Menu
•Press the SETUP key
•Once SETUP is pressed, press the PAGE LEFT and PAGE RIGHT keys to select between the following features
•Turn A / B / C / D Edit Knobs to control the relative parameter
•I/O Menu Î Allows user to select input and output setup options:
oMaster Input = Analog or Digital
oInput Mode = Mono or Stereo
oWet/Dry Mix = Internal or External where Internal = wet/dry mix controlled from REV2496, External = wet/dry mix controlled from e.g. mixer aux send
oLCD Control = Controls the brightness of the LCD screen on the REV2496
•DIGI Menu Î Allows user to select the digital source, sync options, etc.
oClock Source = 44.1K, 48K, 96K, Digital Input, or Wordclock
oInput Source (Digital) = XLR or OPT
oDither = On / Off
oOutput Format = AES3 or S/PDIF options available
•GAIN Menu Î Allows user to control overall gain for both Analog and Digital inputs and outputs
oAnalog Input / Analog Output = gain offset for analog in and out
oDigital Input / Digital Output = gain offset for digital in and out
•MIDI Menu Î Allows user to setup REV2496’s MIDI Control Capability
oUser can setup separate MIDI channels for ENGINE A, B, and COMBI presets
oUser can setup MIDI messages to be transmitted/received/ignored
Demonstrating COMBI
•Press the COMBI button to access the COMBI presets.
•Press “OK” to load the desired preset.
Demonstrating the TAP TEMPO Feature
•Use the Large Data Wheel to select a DELAY preset such as “ROM 009”.
•Press OK to load the program.
•Repeatedly Press the OK/TAP button at the desired tempo.
•Watch the delay time parameter change on the display.
