network name is not listed in available networks.
1. Verify t hat yo ur Rou ter is on and the
front-panel light shows solid green.
2. If you are far from the Router, you might try movin g
closer to see if you mi ght have been out o f range.
3. Using a co mputer attac hed to the R outer via a netwo rk cab le,
visit http://router/ and ensu re tha t “Br oadcas t SSID ” is O N.
This setting is found on the “Channel and SSID” page.

Other factors that will cause signal degradation (metal is
generall y the w orst c ulpri t) are obstr uction s suc h as wa lls
and metal appli ances . Note also t hat c onnect ion sp eed m ay
decrease as you move far ther away from th e Router.
In order to dete rmine if wi reless issu es are relate d to
range, we sugge st tem porari ly mov ing th e com puter
within 10 feet from the Router if possible.
