Troubleshooting

Vacuum cleaner won't run.

Possible Causes

Remedies

1 Power Cord not firmly plugged in

Check electrical plug

2 Thermal protector activated

Allow cleaner to cool for 30 minutes, see pg. 13

No Power at Rotating Floor Brush.

Possible Causes

Cylinder is not securely seated

Remove Cylinder and replace, making sure that

 

 

 

it “clicks” into place

Brush Switch turned to “OFF”

Make sure Brush Switch is in “ON” position

Vacuum cleaner or Tools won't pick up dirt.

1Incorrect Height Adjustment

2Hose not attached to suction opening

3Crack or hole in Hose

4Drive Belt broken, worn or off motor pulley

5Rotating Floor Brush bristles worn

6Rotating Floor Brush jammed

7Clog in vacuum

8Dirt Container full

9Dirt Container or Upper Tank not installed properly

10 Filters are dirty

Remedies

1Adjust Powerfoot to correct height setting

2Grasp Hose Grip and firmly push onto the base

3Check Hose and replace if needed

4Reposition or replace Drive Belt, see pg. 11-12

5Replace Brush

6Remove Brush and clean debris from Brush Ends

7Follow instructions on pg. 13 for clearing clogs

8Empty Dirt Container

9Position correctly and lock in place

10Check and clean Upper Tank, Pre-Motor and Post-Motor Filters

Vacuum cleaner is difficult to push.
