•Graspthenozzlesectionandtwistuntilitis
90degreestothehousing,thenpullstraightout

•Ifusing waterbasedmaterial,cleanthenozzle
sectionbyrunningwaterthroughpickuptube
inletasshowninfigure P.Ifusingoilbased
materials,cleanpickuptubeinletwiththe
appropriatecleaningsolution.Repeatuntil
sprayeriscompletelyclean.
•Dryallpartsthoroughly.
•Properlydisposeofcleaningsolution.
•Placeadropofhouseholdoilontothemetal
ballinthecheckvalve
(figureQ). IMPORTANT:Lubricating the ball
incheck valve, after cleanup, will helpto
preventit from sticking which can clogthe
valveand prevent adequate flow of spray
material.
NOTE:When reassembling,placemetalball
endofcheckvalveintosprayer.
•Reassemblesprayer(figure R).NOTE: The
spray tip can only go in one way.The notch
onthe spray tip, shown in figure S must
alignwith the re cess in the threads of the
sprayer.
