9. Once the baking cycle is finished, the unit shuts off automatically.

Note: For your convenience the oven will remember the last programmed temperature and time settings.

10.Open the oven door and using an oven mitt or pot holder, slide out the rack to remove the food.

Caution: The unit is hot. Do not let any part of your skin touch any surface.

BROILING

Note: Broiling temperature is preset. You do not need to preheat the oven.

1.Press . For 5 seconds, the ON indicator light blinks and digital display shows BRL with 3 blinking bars.

2. If you want to preset broiling time, press

. For 5 seconds, digital display shows blinking

1:00 (default time) and BRL TIMER. Use

and

to change default time (1:00)

until it reaches desired broiling time.

 

 

Note: You can program the timer for up to 2 hours.

Important: You have only 5 seconds to press . If do not press , the digital display goes back to the time of day and the ON indicator light goes out. You will have to restart the routine.

3.After you press , the ON indicator light becomes steady. Set broiling time and TIMER blink on the digital display.

4.Open oven door. Oven beeps.

5.Place food on the broil rack set in the bake pan (drip tray).

6.Place bake pan on the slide rack at least 2 inches from heating element.

7.Close oven door. Digital display shows blinking bars and BRL. The oven will beep at 1-minute

interval to signal that you MUST press again to activate the broiling function.

Important: Every time you open the oven door, you must press to activate the broiling

function. If you do not press , the oven keeps beeping signaling that the broiling function is not active.

8.After you press , the preset broiling time keeps blinking. Timer starts countdown to broiling time. At :00 you will hear 5 short beeps, the On indicator light goes out and the display changes to the time of day. The unit shuts off automatically.

CONVECTION COOKING

Important:

 

 

You must select the Convection function right after you select Bake. You cannot select it in the middle of the baking cycle.

Every time you open the oven door, you must press to activate the Convection function.

Follow package or recipe direction for time conversion. As a general rule, foods should be baked in convection at 25 degrees lower. Watch cooking time as many foods will bake in less time.

Care and Cleaning

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.

1.Turn off unit, unplug from wall outlet and let it cool before cleaning.

2.Clean the glass door with a nylon pad and sudsy water. Do not use a spray glass cleaner.

3.To remove slide rack, open the door, pull the rack forward and out. Wash in warm, sudsy water or in a dishwasher. To remove stubborn spots, use a polyester or nylon pad. To replace the slide rack, open the door completely and slide into the rail and close the door.

4.Wash the bake pan (drip tray), broil rack and pizza pan in warm, sudsy water or in the dishwasher. To minimize scratching, use a polyester or nylon pad.

Note: Bake pan (drip tray) is not nonstick.

5.To remove the crumb tray, grasp the handle at the front of the oven and pull it out. Dispose of crumbs and wash the tray in warm, sudsy water. Remove stubborn spots with a nylon mesh pad. Be sure to dry thoroughly before inserting the tray back into the oven.

Nonstick Coating

1.Unplug the oven and let it cool, then wipe with a soapy sponge or nylon pad after each use.

2.Do not use a chemical oven cleaner. Do not use any abrasive cleansers or scouring pads as they may harm the coating. Dry with paper towel or soft cloth.

Exterior

Let the oven cool completely before cleaning any outer surface. Wipe with a damp cloth or sponge and dry with paper towel or soft cloth.

Cooking Containers

Metal, ovenproof glass or ceramic bakeware without glass lids can be used in your oven. Follow manufacturer’s instructions. Be sure the top edge of the container is at least

1" (2.54 cm) away from the upper heating elements.
