| 4B INSTALLING FAUCET WITH DECKPLATE | |
|
|
| Ensure that the Plastic Putty Plate (4B1) is pressed on the Deckplate (4B2). | |
|
|
| Place a bead of plumber’s putty in the groove along the outer edge of the Putty | |
|
|
| Plate (4B1). Assemble Deckplate and Putty Plate to Faucet Body (4B3). With | |
|
|
| the handle and spout facing forward, carefully install the Faucet Supply Tubes | |
2 SHUT OFF WATER SUPPLY |

| (4B4) through the center hole of sink (4B5). | |

Locate water supply inlets and shut off the water supply valves. These are |

usually found under the sink or near the water meter. If you are replacing an |

existing faucet, remove the faucet from the sink and clean the sink surface |

thoroughly. |

| Ensure that the Plastic Putty Plate (4C1) is pressed on the Deckplate (4C2). | |

| From underneath sink, secure the faucet by placing the Metal Washer (5A) | |

| and the Long Nut (5B) ( 7/16 hex.) onto the Mounting Post (5C). Make sure | ||
| that the bumps on the Metal Washer (5A) are facing up. Tighten using a flathead | |||
Assemble Base Washer (4A1) to Faucet Body (4A2). With the handle and |
| screwdriver or an adjustable wrench until the faucet is firmly connected to the | ||
spout facing forward, carefully install the Faucet Supply Tubes (4A3) through |
| sink. Secure connection by screwing the Setscrew (5D) onto the Long Nut | ||
the center hole of sink (4A4). |
