GasAlertMax provides extraordinary cost of ownership advantages. Training and maintenance costs are mini- mized through automated calibration, internal plug-in sampling pump, long-life VersaPak battery power (avail- able in local stores) and simple, one-button control. GasAlertMax is powered by two advanced microcon- trollers and features plug-in electrochemical and catalytic sensors. High-output audible/visual alarms provide instant notification.

The large alphanumeric LCD shows real-time gas concen- trations and the instrument’s status at all times. A full-func- tion self-test verifies sensor, circuitry and battery integrity and activates the audible/visual alarms each time the detector is activated. GasAlertMax clearly advises the hazard present—Low, High, TWA and STEL multi-gas alarm. Recorded TWA, STEL and Peak exposures can be displayed on demand.

GasAlertMax satisfies the OSHA safety regulation CFR1910.146 (Permit Required - Confined Space Entry).
