Specify the network speed and configuration, IP address, netmask,

and gateway for the switching system.

 

 

 

Assigning target device names

Use the Names window to identify individual target devices by name rather than by port number. The Names list is always sorted by port order. Names are stored in the SAM, so even if you move the cable or target device to another target device interface port, the name and configuration are recognized by the appliance. If a target device is turned off, you cannot modify the name of the SAM.

To access the Names window, complete the following steps:

1.Press Print Screen to start the OSD interface. The Main window opens.

2.Click Setup > Names. The Names window opens.
