The Power Adapter

The AutoSwitch is usually powered by the signals drawn from computers and the printer. A power supply is not required under such conditions.

However, if the peripherals are not able to supply enough power to the AutoSwitch, a 9-VDC, 500-mA power supply may be required to operate the switch properly.
