–Om kokaren har stängts av för hand kan den när som helst kopplas till igen.

–Vattenkokaren kan kopplas till igen så snart den inbyggda skyddsavstängningen har svalnat tillräckligt.

UNDERHÅLL OCH SKÖTSEL

KALKFILTER

Kalk, eller kalciumavlagring, är en naturlig substans som bildas när hårt vatten kokas. Filtret tjänar till att hålla denna avlagring kvar i kannan.

RENGÖRA OCH AVLÄGSNA FILTRET

Det är viktigt att filtret rengörs regelbundet. Filtret är fastklämt i kroppen och kan avlägsnas genom att dra den uppåt från kroppen. Det kan borstas rent med en mjuk borste under rinnande vatten.

RENGÖRA OCH AVKALKA KOKAREN

Kalkavlagring kan avlägsnas med en avkalkningsprodukt lämpad för plastkannor (noggrant enligt anvisningarna), eller med citronsyra.

Vi rekommenderar att använda citronsyra så här:

Koka upp 1,1L vatten, dra sedan ut kontakten och ställ kokaren i en tom bunke eller diskho. Tillsätt 55 g citronsyre- kristaller i små portioner, låt kokaren sedan stå en stund.

Så snart vattnet slutar skumma ska kannan tömmas och sköljas grundligt med kallt vatten. Torka kokarens utsida noggrant med en fuktig trasa för att avlägsna alla rester citronsyra som kan skada ytbehandlingen.

Använd inte en mer koncentrerad lösning. Kontrollera att alla elkontakter är helt torra innan du använder kokaren igen. Citronsyrekristall finns hos de flesta kemikaliehandlare.

–Om kokaren inte avkalkas kan garantin förfalla.

–Rengör kokarens utsida aldrig med kemikalier, stålull eller slipande rengöringsmedel.

–Rengör apparaten endast med en fuktig trasa.

–Sänk aldrig apparaten i vatten: Tänk på att detta är en elektrisk apparat.

Obs! Se till att nätströmmen är frånkopplad medan kokaren inte används.

Allt övrigt underhåll ska utföras av ett auktoriserat serviceombud.
