6 Configuration menu

Access all the parameters that are used to configure the unit via the menu system. The large number of available parameters gives the opportunity to program extensive functionality. Administrator rights are required to access the configuration menus.

There are four ways to access the menu system:

–the front panel keys,

–a USB mouse,

–the IR Remote Control,

–remotely via the Web-based Configuration application.

In all cases, the parameters available are the same. Slight differences in navigation and selection are due only to the differences between the keys on the unit, the mouse, and the interface of the Web browser. The menu structure is the same in all cases.

This chapter explains how to access the menus locally on the unit. It also documents the structure of the configuration menu system.

The configuration menu is accessed from the top menu. The settings submenus give access to all configurable items for the unit.

The configuration menu has six major menu groups listed across the top. Each of these groups has a set of drop-down submenus which provide access to a screen where the values and functions can be selected and changed.
