La telecamera day/night FlexiDomeDN è dotata di un filtro ad infrarossi motorizzato. È possibile rimuovere il filtro ad infrarossi in caso di illuminazione insufficiente o ad infrarossi.

Se si seleziona la modalità di commutazione automatica, la telecamera attiva/disattiva il filtro automaticamente in base al livello di illuminazione rilevato. Il livello di commutazione è programmabile. In modalità di commutazione automatica la telecamera dà la priorità al movimento (produce immagini nitide senza sfocature dovute al movimento finché il livello di illuminazione lo consente) o al colore (produce immagini a colori finché il livello di illuminazione lo consente). La telecamera rileva le scene illuminate dai raggi infrarossi ed evita la commutazione indesiderata alla modalità cromatica.

La commutazione della telecamera può avvenire in due modi:

•tramite la comunicazione Bilinx™ o

•automaticamente, in base al livello di illuminazione rilevato.
