9.Não ignore o objectivo de segurança da ficha polarizada ou de ligação à terra. Uma ficha polarizada tem duas lâminas, sendo uma mais larga do que a outra. Uma ficha de ligação à terra tem duas lâminas e um terceiro perno para ligação à terra. A lâmina grande e o terceiro perno destinam-se a proporcionar segurança. Se a ficha fornecida não for compatível com as tomadas disponíveis, informe-se junto de um electricista.

10.Proteja o cabo de alimentação, de forma a que não seja pisado ou esmagado, especialmente junto às fichas, em organizadores de ligações e junto ao ponto de saída do equipamento.

11.Utilize apenas ligações/acessórios especificados pelo fabricante.

12.Desligue este equipamento da tomada durante trovoadas ou quando não o utilizar durante longos períodos de tempo.

13.A assistencia só pode ser prestada por técnicos qualificados. 14.A instalação eléctrica do edifício deve estar equipada com um comutador de corrente multipolar com uma separação de contacto de, pelo menos, 3 mm em cada pólo.
