Listening to a docked device

1.Insert your iPod or iPhone into the dock. The dock indicator glows on the front panel.

Note: When plugged in, your SoundDock 10 Bluetooth digital music system charges your docked iPod or iPhone.

Note: Your SoundDock 10 Bluetooth digital music system comes with a universal dock adapter that can accommodate most iPod and iPhone models. (refer to details on page iv). If you prefer to use the adapter that came with your iPod, see “Changing the dock adapter” on page 7.

2.Use the Bose® remote to control system functions.

Dock

Press to select the docked device.

Off

Press to turn off the system.

Manual background Play/Pause

Press to play or pause the current track on the docked device.

Volume +/–

Press to increase (+) or decrease (–) the volume.

Press and hold for faster adjustment.

Playlist select

Press to select the next (Manual backgroundManual background) or previous (Manual backgroundManual background) playlist.

Manual background Skip forward

Press once to skip to the next track.

Press and hold to quickly scan forward through a track.

Skip backward

Press once to skip to the beginning of the current track.

Press twice to skip to the beginning of the previous track.

Press and hold to quickly scan backward through a track.
