Breville recommends safety first continued
•It is recommended to regularly inspect the appliance. Do not use the appliance if power supply cord, plug or appliance becomes damaged in any way. Return the entire appliance to the nearest authorized Breville Service Centre for examination and/or repair.
•Any maintenance, other than cleaning, should be performed at an authorized Breville Service Centre.
•The installation of a residual current device (safety switch) is recommended to provide additional safety protection when using electrical appliances. It is advisable that a safety switch with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the appliance. See your electrician for professional advice.
Before first use
Remove and safely discard any packaging material and labels before using the Breville ikon™ Microwave Oven for the first time.
Carefully unpack the Breville ikon™ Microwave Oven and keep all the packing material until all the parts of the microwave oven have been found and the appliance has been assembled. It is recommended to keep all the packing material in a safe place in case you wish to re- pack the product for shipping purposes.
To remove any dust that may have accumulated during packing, wash the roller ring and glass turntable tray in warm soapy water, rinse in clean water then dry thoroughly. Wipe the interior and exterior of the microwave oven with a soft, damp cloth then dry thoroughly.
WARNING: CHECK THE OVEN FOR ANY DAMAGE, SUCH AS MISALIGNED OR
BENT DOOR, DAMAGED DOOR SEALS AND SEALING SURFACE, BROKEN OR LOOSE DOOR HINGES AND LATCHES AND DENTS INSIDE THE CAVITY OR ON THE DOOR. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE, DO NOT OPERATE THE OVEN AND CONTACT A BREVILLE SERVICE CENTRE.
