120/240 Voltios AC, 30 Amperios, Receptáculo de Seguridad

Con este tomacorriente se utiliza un enchufe tipo NEMA L14-30. Conecte un cable de 4 hilos preparado para trabajar con cargas de 250 Voltios de c.a. a 30 Amperios (o más) (Figura 29). Puede utilizar el mismo cable de 4 hilos si piensa trabajar con una carga de 120 Voltios.

Utilice este tomacorriente para operar cargas eléctricas de 120 Voltios AC, monofásicas de 60 Hz que requieran hasta

3,600 vatios (3.6 kW) a 30 Amperios de corriente. La toma está protegida por un cortacircuito de 30 Amperios con dispositivo de reposición.

120 Volt AC, 20 Amperios, Receptáculos Dobles

Cada receptáculo (Figura 31) está protegido en contra de sobrecargas por un corto-circuitos de 20 Amperios, del tipo "empuje para reposicionar".

Este receptáculo le provee poder a cargas de 120/240 Voltios AC, de 60 Hz, fase sencilla, que requieren hasta 3,600 Voltios de energía

a30 Amperios, para 120 Voltios; 7,200 Voltios de energía (7.2 kW) a 30 Amperios para 240 Voltios. La salida está protegida por un corto-circuito.

Tomacorrientes de 120 Voltios AC, 30 Amperios

Use un enchufe tipo NEMA L5-30 con este tomacorriente. Conecte un juego de cordones de 3 alambres con una capacidad de 125 Voltios AC a 30 Amperios al enchufe (Figura 30).

Use cada receptáculo para operar 120 Voltios AC, de fase sencilla, de cargas de 60Hz que requieren hasta 2,400 vatios (2.4 kW) a corrientes de 20 Amperios. Use los juegos de cables que son calificados para cargas de 125 Voltios AC, a 20 Amperios (o mayores).
