1.Unscrew fastening knobs and outer mating pieces from each side of pivot joint assembly.
2.Lay the upper handle across the engine cowl of the lawnmower, with the bend facing down (see fig 1).
3.Position the ends of the upper handle over the lower handles at the pivot joint, so that the holes are all aligned.
4.Replace the outer mating pieces on each side and partly tighten into place with fastening knobs, but do not fully tighten yet (see fig 2).
5.The Aerogrip handle may now be lifted into its normal operating position, and the fastening knobs fully tightened.
