Feed dogs up using one of the three settings based on fabric and whether the pin feed is used. Presser foot dial, thread tension and stitch length are normally adjusted to produce a balanced stitch.

Quilting cotton, upholstery cord
General Sewing Directions:
Follow normal sewing instructions.

For double welting, cut fabric wider than three times width of double cord. Sample uses

straight of grain. Lay cords ½” from the edge of fabric. Fold the ½” section over the double cord, covering the full width. Fold over the entire piece, wrapping the cord completely, for a very tight fit. Sew between the cords. When through, trim off excess fabric close to stitching line. Apply cord to your project with the trimmed edge underneath.
