To select or change your Receive Mode

Press Menu/Set, 0, 1.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select Fax Only, Fax/Tel, External TAD or
Manual.
Press Menu/Set.

Press Stop/Exit.
Setting the Ring Delay
The Ring Delay sets the number of times the MFC rings before it
answers in Fax Only or Fax/Tel mode. If you have extens ion
phones on the same line as the MF C or subscribe to the telephone
company’s BT Call Sign service, keep the Ring Delay setting of 4.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select how many times the line r ings before the
MFC answers (00 - 04 UK only)(00 - 05 Nordic countries only).
Press Menu/Set.
(If you select 00, the li ne won’t ring at all.)

Press Stop/Exit.
