Using both hands put paper in t he manual feed tray until the
front edge of the paper touc hes the paper feed roller and the
machine grips the paper.

After the printed page com es out of the machine, put in the ne xt
sheet of paper as in Step 4 abo ve. Repeat for each page that
you want to print.
The MP tray (For MFC-8840D and DCP-8045D)

Select the Paper Size, Media Type, Paper Source, and other
settings in the printer driver.
Media Type: Plain Paper
Paper Source: MP Tray

Open the MP tray and lower it ge ntly.

Pull out the MP tray suppor t flap.
■Make sure that the paper is s traight and in the proper
position on the manual feed tray. If it is not, the paper may
not be fed properly, r esulting in a skewed p rintout or a paper
jam.
■Do not put more than on e piece of paper in the m anual feed
tray at any one time, or it may cause a jam.
