Using additional handsets

Registering an additional Synergy handset with the base station or de-registering a handset.

As well as your original handset, you can register up to a further 4 additional handsets to your Synergy 2110 base station.

To register a handset

The system allows internal calls between two handsets while a third is making an external call.

Each additional handset you purchase must be registered to the base station.

Please note

Remember to charge the batteries of new handsets for at least 16 hours. When switched on, a new additional handset will display the flashing icon.This tells you that the handset is not yet registered with the base station.

Please note

The following process is only for registering another Synergy 2110 handset to the base station.

If you are registering any other handset, then please refer to that handset’s user guide for instructions.

At the base station: Press and hold the Page button for at least 10 seconds. The green Power/In Use light will flash.

At the handset:

Within the next 30 seconds press the Options button.

Press the 5 button.

Enter the number of the base station you wish to register the handset to (1-4).

For example, if it is the second base station you are registering a handset to you should use 2 and so on.

You will hear a confirmation tone.

Enter your base station PIN. (Original setting = 0000.)

Press the Options button to confirm.

ADDITIONAL HANDSETS

Please note

If the registration process fails, the handset display shows the flashing icon and you should begin the process again.
