HANDSET SETTINGS

To set the external or internal ringer melody

There are 5 melodies to choose from and you have the option to choose a different melody for external and internal calls. (Internal calls for when you have more than one handset).

Menu	Press the  button to enter
	the menu.
Vol	Use the DOWN button to
Calls
Menu	scroll to HANDSET and press
	the  button.
Vol	Use the DOWN button to
Calls	scroll to either INT MEL or
	EXT MEL.
Menu	Press the  button.

You will hear the current melody setting and it will be shown on the display. e.g. MELODY 4.

Redial	Use the UP or DOWN button
Vol	to select the required melody.
Calls
	You will hear a sample melody.
Menu	Press the  button to confirm
	the new melody. You will hear
	a confirmation tone.
Secrecy	Press and hold the ✘ button to
	return to the standby screen.

To switch auto-talk on/off

When the handset is on the base or the charging unit you can answer the call by picking it up from the base. This will automatically answer the call without having to press the TALK button.

Menu	Press the  button.
Vol	Use the DOWN button to
Calls
	scroll to HANDSET and press
Menu	the  button.
Vol	Use the DOWN button to
Calls	scroll to AUTO ANS.
Menu	Press the  button.
R al	Use the UP or DOWN button
edi	to turn AUTO-TALK ON or
Vol
Calls	OFF.
Menu	Press the  button to
	confirm.
Secrecy	Press and hold the ✘ button to
	return to the standby screen.

To name a handset

The handset name is pre-set as SYNERGY, however, you can personalise each handset by giving it a name. A maximum of 8 characters can be stored.
