Each handset can only be registered with one base at a time.

Registering additional handsets

If you purchase new handsets to use with your current BT Diverse 5110, they will not be pre-registered to a base station. You will need to do this before you can use them.

To register a new BT Diverse 5100 handset to a BT Diverse 5110 base station

For this method of registration your handset must be a BT Diverse 5100.

Place your handset on the base.

Ensure that the handset is switched on.

After about 1 minute, the handset’s internal number will be displayed, e.g. 2.

The next available internal number (2 6) will be auto- matically assigned to the handset.

Note

If all internal numbers have been assigned then the internal number 6 will be re-assigned.
