TIPP: Während die POWER-Taste gedrückt ist, können Sie das Instrument langsam von Objekt zu Objekt bewegen und den Laser absichtlich dazu zwingen, mehrere Objekte zu erfassen um sicherzustellen, dass nur das am weitesten entfernte Objekt angezeigt wird, dass vom Laser erfasst wurde.

Nach dem Abschalten kehrt das Instrument immer wieder zum zuletzt verwendeten Zielmodus zurück.

Der Scout™1000 ARC™ Entfernungsmesser bietet eine 5-fache Vergrößerung und mehrfach vergütete Optik. Ein LCD-Display ist innerhalb der Optik montiert und zeigt bei Aktivierung ein Retikel für die Zielerfassung, Yards bzw. Meter und die Modusanzeigen an. Aufgrund des Herstellungsverfahrens erscheinen in der Optik kleine schwarze Flecken. Dies sind natürliche Eigenschaften des LCD-Displays und lassen sich bei der Herstellung nicht völlig vermeiden. Sie beeinträchtigen die Messleistung des Instruments in keiner Weise.

RainGuard® HD

Die Außenflächen der Objektiv- und Okularlinsen sind mit RainGuard® HD beschichtet. RainGuard® HD ist Bushnells permanente, patentierte hydrophobe (wasserabweisende) Linsenbeschichtung, die ein Beschlagen durch Kondensation aufgrund von Regen, Schneeregen, Schnee oder Ihrem eigenen Atem verhindert, indem die Beschichtung zur Bildung wesentlich kleinerer Tropfen führt als übliche Beschichtungen. Kleinere, gleichförmige Tröpfchen streuen weniger Licht, was eine klarere, hellere Sicht ermöglicht.
