Quelle sopra elencate sono alcune delle combinazioni calibro/carico più popolari. L’allegato CD Ballistics contiene circa 1000 combinazioni calibro/carico. Caricare il CD nel lettore CD del computer e seguire le istruzioni sullo schermo. L’elenco completo è disponibile anche sul sito Web della Bushnell (www.bushnell.com).

Dopo aver determinato il gruppo balistico corrispondente al proprio calibro e carico, selezionare detto gruppo balistico (vedi MENU SETUP).

La formula interna determinerà la misura dell’abbassamento/tenuta del proiettile in pollici o centimetri, in base alla distanza, all’angolo e alla balistica del proprio calibro e carico.

NOTA: tutti i dati dell’abbassamento/tenuta del proiettile presuppongono che il fucile sia stato mirato a 100 yarde. I dati dell’abbassamento/tenuta del proiettile per le impostazioni balistiche I e J presuppongono che il muzzleloader sia stato mirato a 150 yarde.

Questa tecnologia d’avanguardia permette al cacciatore o allo sparatore di sapere con precisione dove tenere per un tiro efficace. Queste informazioni devono essere considerate come un’utile guida o strumento, e in nessuna maniera devono sostituire la pratica e la conoscenza del proprio fucile, delle proprie cartucce e del proprio carico. Incoraggiamo gli utenti a praticare il tiro a distanze diverse, così sapranno le prestazioni del proprio fucile, delle proprie cartucce e del proprio carico. Sapere sempre cosa si trova dietro il proiettile; in caso contrario, non sparare.

ESEMPIO - Si dispone di un WSM 300 e vengono sparati i seguenti carichi Winchester: Proiettile Ballistic Silver Tip da 180 gr. alla velocità iniziale di 3010 FPS. Questa combinazione rientra nel gruppo balistico “F”. Dopo aver impostato il telemetro sul gruppo balistico “F”, andare alla distanza e mirare il cannocchiale da puntamento a 100 yarde. Se poi viene sparato ad un bersaglio a 317 yarde, l’abbassamento del proiettile sarà di 9 pollici. Se il tiro viene fatto ad un angolo di 27 gradi verso l’alto, l’abbassamento corretto del proiettile sarà di 8 pollici.
