2. Accensione fotocamera

Impostare l’interruttore di accensione su On. Premere Setup per uscire dal menu di Setup laddove non sia necessario regolare alcuna impostazione. Il display si oscura e la fotocamera passa in stato “sleep”. When the PIR sensor is triggered, it will start to take photos immediately after the delay time (as set in the menu) has passed.

3. Impostazione degli interruttori PIR e Otturatore

L’interruttore PIR consente di aumentare o diminuire la sensibilità del sensore infrarosso passivo (PIR) al calore. Sono disponibili tre livelli: H (alto), M (medio), L (basso). Durante le impostazioni della fotocamera per catturare le immagini della fauna durante calde giornate estive, per il sensore può risultare più difficile rilevare la differenza di temperatura tra gli animali e l’ambiente circostante. Un aiuto valido consiste nell’impostare l’interruttore della sensibilità su “H”, in quanto rende il PIR può sensibile alle piccole differenze di temperatura. Viceversa, l’impostazione del livello “L” può evitare azionamenti falsi o troppo frequenti durante le temperature ambientali rigide dell’inverno. Inoltre “M” (medio) è il livello corretto di impostazione per le temperature intermedie di autunno e primavera.

L’interruttore Otturatore imposta la velocità dell’otturatore della fotocamera, da lento (S) a veloce (F). Esso riguarda unicamente le immagini istantanee ma non i video. In tal modo, consente la regolazione del bilanciamento tra il movimento “freeze or blur” e l’esposizione (più scuro, più chiaro). Laddove le foto degli animali risultino troppo confuse quando essi si muovono, provare con una impostazione dell’otturatore più veloce. Laddove le foto risultino troppo scure, provare con una impostazione dell’otturatore più lenta. Per la maggior parte delle operazioni abituali, iniziare con l’interruttore su “N” (Normale).
