4. Test dell’area di copertura

Una delle funzioni più utili della fotocamera da esplorazione X-8 è la capacità di effettuare la valutazione dell’area di copertura.

•Una volta montata la fotocamera, aprire l’alloggiamento frontale e fare scivolare l’interruttore “Power” in posizione “On”. Premere il tasto Setup se necessario per accedere al menu di Setup.

•La luce dell’indicatore PIR sotto l’obiettivo inizia a lampeggiare una volta effettuato l’accesso presso l’area di copertura.

•Regolare la posizione della fotocamera come necessario, quindi ripetere il test fino a raggiungere l’area di copertura desiderata.

•Al termine, premere nuovamente il tasto Setup utilizzando la funzione di test; la fotocamera sarà a riposo in attesa che il sensore PIR scatti la prima foto o realizzi il primo video.

•La portata massima del sensore PIR è di circa 15 metri.

5.Protezione fotocamera

Èpossibile utilizzare un lucchetto standard per il foro del lucchetto della fotocamera, in modo da fissarla ed evitare casi di furto.

6. (Opzionale) Impiego di una fonte di alimentazione esterna

A discrezione dell’utente, è possibile collegare una fonte di alimentazione esterna da 6V CA (non fornita) al jack “DC In” sulla parte inferiore della fotocamera da esplorazione X-8, sotto il pad in gomma attorno alla presa del treppiede (Pag. 106). Attenzione: utilizzare una fonte di alimentazione compatibile, verificando che il voltaggio, la potenza minima della corrente, la polarità dello spinotto siano tutti corretti. Se una sorgente esterna di alimentazione è collegata e le batterie sono installate, X-8 sarà alimentata dalla sorgente esterna.

Specifiche sulla fonte di alimentazione esterna: 6 Volt CA, 1000mA (1A) corrente minima, polarità spinotto polo positivo (+spinotto/- manica).

VISUALIZZAZIONE FOTO e VIDEO

La visualizzazione delle foto e/o video realizzati dalla fotocamera X-8 può essere effettuata mediante uno dei tre seguenti metodi:

Uso di un lettore della scheda SD

1.Esercitare una lieve spinta della scheda SD verso l’interno, quindi rimuoverla con delicatezza.

2.Inserire la scheda SD in un qualsiasi lettore di schede SD (un lettore di schede SD dedicato o un “lettore multi-schede” dotato di slot per diversi
