Durante caças de tocaia ou com perseguição, a luneta variável deve estar configurada na potência mais baixa. Dessa forma, será obtido o campo de visão mais amplo para tiros rápidos a pequenas distâncias. As potências mais altas devem ser reservadas para tiros a longas distâncias com precisão.

ATENÇÃO: este rifle com mira telescópica e telêmetro laser não deve usado como substituto para um binóculo, telescópio de localização ou dispositivo de medição, pois você poderá inadvertidamente apontar uma arma na direção de outra pessoa. Antes de usar este dispositivo, lembre-se de que ele está montado sobre uma arma de fogo e que todas as precauções de segurança devem ser postas em prática. Ao lidar com armas de fogo, sempre mantenha a boca da arma apontada para uma direção segura.

MONTAGEM (Veja a Figura 8)

Para obter a maior precisão que rifle pode proporcionar, a luneta da Bushnell deve ser montada corretamente. (Recomendamos às pessoas não familiarizadas com os procedimentos corretos que tenham a montagem da luneta feita por um armeiro qualificado). Caso decida fazer a montagem por conta própria:

Use o sistema de montagem incluído. Os suportes são fabricados para encaixe rabo de andorinha tipo weaver. Antes de montar a luneta, estabeleça aproximadamente a posição em que ficará sobre o rifle. As ranhuras na parte inferior do rifle com mira telescópica proporcionam grande flexibilidade para montar a luneta mais à frente ou para trás.

ATENÇÃO: se a luneta não for montada suficientemente para frente, seu movimento de recuo poderá lesar o atirador.

O suporte dianteiro possui uma chave que se encaixa nas ranhuras do rabo de andorinha do rifle com mira telescópica. Selecione a ranhura apropriada e conecte o suporte dianteiro seguramente com os dois parafusos de encaixe da luneta. O suporte posterior não possui chave, permitindo deslizar para frente ou para trás sobre o rabo de andorinha do rifle. Posicione-o, sem apertar, sobre o rabo de andorinha da luneta: por enquanto, deixe os dois parafusos soltos para que o suporte possa deslizar sobre a base.

Coloque a luneta sobre o rifle, encaixando os suportes dianteiro e posterior nas bases weaver. Afaste os suportes o máximo possível para oferecer estabilidade. Aperte levemente os parafusos que prendem os suportes

às bases weaver. (Figure 8)
