Wenn drei horizontale Linien (¬¬¬ ) erscheinen (Abbildung 4), so zeigt dies an, dass das Gerät die Entfernung aus einer Reihe von Gründen nicht richtig messen konnte (d. h. Ziel zu weit weg, intensive Reflexion, Gerät nicht direkt auf das Ziel gerichtet, usw.). Drei Linien übereinander in vertikaler Anordnung (Abbildung 5) erscheinen, um anzuzeigen, dass das Gerät misst, und die Entfernung wird in Yards oder Metern angezeigt (Abbildung 6).

Wenn die Maßeinheit Yards (Y) erscheint und Sie auf Meter (M) umschalten wollen, so drücken Sie einfach den Teil für Yards/Meter (Abbildung 1.3) des POWER-Hauptschalters. Wenn die Anzeige in Meter erfolgt, kann mit Hilfe desselben Vorgans umgekehrt zu Yards umgeschaltet werden.

FERNGESTEUERTES INFRAROT-TRIGGERPAD

Ein ferngesteuertes Infrarot-Triggerpad (Abbildung 2) liegt dem Gerät bei. Es wurde so gestaltet, dass es am Schaft des Gewehrs angebracht werden kann, und funktioniert bei rechts- als auch bei linkshändigen Schützen. Damit kann der Anwender während der Anwendung des Laser-Entfernungsmessers eine stabile Schussposition beibehalten. Das rote Dreieck auf dem ferngesteuerten Auslöser muss in Richtung des Schützen zeigen und sich am Schaft des Gewehrs befinden, um ordnungsgemäß zu funktionieren. Es muss innerhalb des in Abbildung 7 dargestellten 6-Zoll-

Spielraums angebracht werden, so dass es richtig mit dem Infrarotsensor kommunizieren kann (Abbildung 1.6). Der ferngesteuerte Auslöser funktioniert mit einer CR2016 Uhrenbatterie. Um diese Batterie zu wechseln, öffnen Sie die Abdeckung mit einem kleinen Schraubenzieher, entfernen Sie die Batterie, ersetzen Sie sie durch eine neue, und schließen Sie die Abdeckung.

ANMERKUNG: Die Elektronik ist auf Automatisches Ausschalten nach zwei Stunden Inaktivität eingestellt. Für die erneute Verwendung des ferngesteuerten Infrarot-Triggerpads muss deshalb zuerst der Hauptschalter (Abbildung 1.2) gedrückt werden.
