Shooting Movies in E Mode

Enter Emode.

z Set the mode dial to E.

Configure the settings to suit the movie (pp. 230 – 237).

Shoot.

zPress the movie button.

zTo stop movie recording, press the movie button again.

Locking or Changing Image Brightness Before Shooting

Before shooting, you can lock the exposure or change it in 1/3-stop increments within a range of –2 to +2.

Lock the exposure.

zPress the obutton to lock the exposure. The exposure shift bar is displayed.

zTo unlock the exposure, press the obutton again.

Adjust the exposure.

zTurn the 5dial to adjust the exposure, as you watch the screen.

Shoot.
