Turning the Flash Off
You can shoot with the flash turned off.
Press the r button.Choose !.zPress the qrbuttons to choose !, then press the m button.
XOnce set, !will appear on the screen.

What if a flashing 
appears?
When you press the shutter button halfway in low light conditions where camera
shake is likely, a flashing 
will appear on the screen. Attach the camera to a tripod to prevent it from moving.
