| 1 Set the Mode Dial to <1>. |

| 3 Focus the subject. |

| focus flashes briefly in red. At the |
| same time, the beeper will sound and |
| the focus confirmation light <o> in |
| the viewfinder will light. |
| X If necessary, the |
