Preparing the Camera

Charging the Battery Pack

Use the following procedures to charge the battery pack the first time and subsequently when the low battery icon ( ) and Lb ( ) message flash.

1 Turn the main dial to .

2 Slide the battery cover lock in the direction of the arrow and open the battery cover.

3 Insert the battery pack and close the battery cover.

4 Attach the power cord to the compact power adapter and plug it into an electrical outlet.

 

Connect the DC plug of the compact

 

5 power adapter to the camera’s DC IN
