Additional Information

There is no sound from the TV.

-When connecting the camcorder to an HDTV using the CTC-100/S Component Cable, make sure to connect also the audio connections using the white and red plugs of the STV-250N Stereo Video Cable.

The camcorder is connected using the optional HTC-100 HDMI Cable, but there is no picture or sound from the HDTV.

-Disconnect the HTC-100 HDMI Cable and then restore the connection or turn the camcorder off and then on again.

The computer doesn't recognize the camcorder even though the camcorder is connected correctly.

-[USB SETTING] is set to [DVD BURNER]. Set it to [PC/PRINTER] or to [CONNECT&SET] ( 97).

-Disconnect the USB cable and turn off the camcorder. After a short while, turn it on again and restore the connection.

The printer is not working even though the camcorder and printer are connected correctly.

-[USB SETTING] is set to [DVD BURNER]. Set it to [PC/PRINTER] or to [CONNECT&SET] ( 97).

-Disconnect the USB cable. Turn the printer off and then on again and restore the connection.

The camcorder doesn't recognize the DW-100 DVD Burner even though it is connected correctly. - [USB SETTING] is set to [PC/PRINTER]. Set it to [DVD BURNER] or to [CONNECT&SET] ( 97).

Following the list of messages for the camcorder you can find separate lists for print- related messages ( 109) and for messages that appear only when using the optional DW-100 DVD Burner ( 108).

ACCESSING THE CARD DO NOT REMOVE THE CARD

-You opened the memory card slot cover while the camcorder was accessing the memory card or the camcorder started accessing the memory card as you opened the memory card slot cover. Do not remove the memory card until this message disappears.

BACK UP RECORDINGS REGULARLY

-This message may appear when you turn on the camcorder. In the event of a malfunction, recordings may be lost so back up your recordings regularly.

BUFFER OVERFLOW RECORDING WAS STOPPED

-The data transfer rate was too high for the memory card in use and the recording was stopped. Replace the memory card with one rated Speed Class 2 or higher.

BUILT-IN MEMORY ERROR

- The built-in memory could not be read.

BUILT-IN MEMORY FULL

-The built-in memory is full (“ END” appears on the screen). Delete some recordings ( 43, 66) to free some space.
