Shooting Close-ups (Macro)

To restrict the focus to subjects at close range, set the camera to [e]. For details on the focusing range, see “Specifications” (=333).

zzPress the <q> button, choose [e] (either press the <q><r> buttons or turn the <7> dial), and then press the <m> button.

XXOnce the setting is complete, [e] is displayed.

If the flash fires, vignetting may occur.

With the AF frame mode set to [Face AiAF], using Touch Shutter returns the camera to [].

To prevent camera shake, try mounting the camera on a tripod and shooting with the camera set to [[] (=108).

You can also configure this setting by pressing the <q> button, touching [e], and then touching it again.
