Image Categories
•Images cannot be rotated (=243) when you set [Auto Rotate] to
[Off]. Additionally, images already rotated will be displayed in the original orientation.
•In Smart Shuffle (=235) mode, even if [Auto Rotate] is set to [Off], images shot vertically will be displayed vertically, and rotated images will be displayed in the rotated orientation.
Image Categories
You can tag images as favorites or assign them to My Category (=245) groups. By choosing a category in filtered playback, you can restrict the following operations to all of those images.
•Viewing (=216), Viewing Slideshows (=234), Protecting Images (=236), Erasing Images (=240), Adding Images to the Print List (DPOF) (=293), Adding Images to a Photobook (=296)

Tagging Images as Favorites
1hoose [Favorites].
zzPress the <n> button and choose [Favorites] on the [1] tab (=91).
2Choose an image.
zzPress the <q><r> buttons or turn the <7> dial to choose an image, and then press the <m> button. [
] is displayed.
zzTo untag the image, press the <m> button again. [
] is no longer displayed.
zzRepeat this process to choose additional images.
