one 800,000 pixel (approx .) sensor
dedicated to each of the primary
colours – Red, Green and Blue –
the XL2 can capture an outstanding
level of detail and reproduce colours
with greater accuracy. Using 3rd
generation DSP signal proce ssing
LSI technology, the XL2 ac hieves 625
lines of progressive scan capability.
When compared to standard interlaced
scanning, there is a noticeab ly improved
S/N ratio, wider dy namic range, lower
colour noise, more natural c olour
resolution and lower aliasing. T he XL2’s
unique 25p Cine-Look mode deliver s
output that’s optimal for compos ite
processing as well as offer ing a better
vertical screen resol ution and higher
detail without flicker.
