Turning Off the Image Stabilizer

The image stabilizer allows you to obtain steady recordings even at telephoto. There is no need to turn off the image stabilizer during normal recording. However, the camcorder tries to compensate for horizontal movements and you may therefore decide to turn it off during panning. The image stabilizer cannot be turned off when the program selector is set to [.
