Basic Photography and Playback: Auto Mode

Using the Flash

The flash has a range of about 0.3–5.5m (11 in. –18 ft.) when the camera is
zoomed out all the way. With maximum optical zoom applied, the range is about
0.3–3.5m (11 in. –11 ft.) (when ISO sensitivity is set to Auto). The following flash
modes are available.
