You can use the digital effects during recording and playback.

Faders ( 62): Begin or end scenes with a fade to or from black.

Effects ( 65): Add flavor to your recordings.

Turn off the digital effect when you do not use it.

Press the DIGITAL EFFECTS button to open the menu. Select [D.EFFECTS ] and press the ON/OFF button.

The camcorder retains the setting even if you turn it off or change the program AE mode.

The digital effect turns off if you switch the program selector to [.

Digital effects can be selected but not activated on a blank blue screen (appears in PLAY (VCR) mode).

Digital effects activated during playback do not change the recording.

Digital effects cannot be used during DV dubbing and photo/date search.

Digital effects can also be set with the wireless controller.
