Selecting a Recording Mode

The camera has a variety of different recording modes.

1.In the REC mode, touch the recording mode icon (page 31).

If the icon is not displayed on the screen, touch the tab to display it.

2.Touch the icon of the recording mode you

want to use.

This enters the selected recording mode.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Auto

Standard Auto recording mode. This is the mode normally

 

 

used for shooting (page 31).

 

 

 

 

 

 

With Premium Auto Pro recording, the camera

automatically determines whether you are shooting a

 

 

 

 

subject or scenery, and other conditions. Premium Auto

 

Pro

 

Pro recording delivers higher image quality than standard

 

 

 

 

 

 

Auto recording mode (page 31).

With BEST SHOT, simply select the sample scene that

BEST SHOT resembles the type of shot you want, and the camera automatically configures ideal settings for the subject and

shooting conditions (page 50).

A variety of artistic effects help to make even common, ART SHOT ordinary subjects become more novel and exciting (page

40).

Make-up smoothes the skin texture of the subject and Make-upsoftens facial shadows caused by harsh sunlight for better

looking portraits (page 42).

Motion Shutter

In this mode, the camera starts a self-timer countdown

when it detects subject movement (page 43).

Recording Images
