IMPORTANT!

Even if you do not stamp the date and/or time with Timestamp, you can do so later using the DPOF function and the printing software function (page 180).

Once date and time information is stamped in a print, it cannot be edited or deleted.

Use the “Date Style” setting (page 167) to specify the Year/ Month/Day format of the date.

The recording date and time are determined in accordance with the camera’s clock settings (pages 11, 165) when the snapshot is recorded.

Digital zoom is not supported while date stamping is turned on.

Date stamping is not supported for the following types of images.

Some BEST SHOT images (Business cards and documents, White board, etc., Old Photo)

Using the On-screen Histogram to Check Exposure

The on-screen histogram that provides a graphic representation of the current exposure of the image. You can also display the histogram in the PLAY mode for information about the exposure levels of images.

1.Press [S] (DISP) as many times as necessary to display the histogram (page 55).

NOTE

You can use key customization to configure the [W] and [X] buttons so they control the EV shift setting. Then you can perform EV shift while viewing the results on the on-screen histogram (page 119).
