3.Load four of the batteries into the upper part of the case. Next, turn the case over and then load the remaining four batteries.

Double-check to make sure that the positive (+) and negative (–) ends of the batteries are facing correctly when you load them.

4.Slide the battery case back into the battery compartment.

Orient the battery case so the “INSERT” arrow is facing towards the battery compartment when you slide it in.

Important!

Check the battery case for dirt, dust, and other foreign matter before sliding it back into the battery compartment.

5.Close the battery compartment cover and slide it in the direction of the arrow in the illustration to lock it.

Battery Life

A set of fresh batteries should supply enough power to print about 200 disc labels (at 20˚C (68˚F), one print operation per disc).

Printing text or graphics that have a lot of black areas, or printing under low temperatures shortens battery life.
