Turning Power On and Off

Press the [button to turn the printer on.

This turns on power and displays an initial screen like the one shown below.

If you are turning the printer back on after using is previously, the initial screen may also include a LAST DATA item. See “Power On Recall” below for more information about this item.

To turn the printer off, press the ]button.

Power On Recall

Whenever you turn power off, any label input that is on the display is automatically stored in memory. Then the next time you turn on power, a LAST DATA item is added to the initial screen.

Since LAST DATA is selected, simply press SET to recall the data you were last working on.

If you do not want to recall the data, use the xand zcursor keys to select NEW or STORED DATA, and then press SET.

Auto Power Off

If you do not perform any key operation for about six minutes, the printer automatically turns power off. To restore power, press [.

Note

Auto Power Off is disabled while the printer is being powered by the optionally available AC adaptor and while the printer is connected to a computer.
