6.2 Music mode

In Music mode, CAVS IPS-11G reads and plays MP3 music files saved under a folder named MUSIC in your USB memory device. The folder MUSIC may contain multilevel sub-folder structure. Select a song file and press ENT to begin playback. The Equalizer screen will appear with the music file information.

For iPod®, to play the MP3 files stored through iTunes®, select iPod-Control, Music, and Songs folders. Note that only the MP3 files stored without the DRM protection will be shown.

File information on the Equalizer screen comes from the ID3 Tag of the MP3 file. If the MP3 file does not have a ID3 Tag, the Equalizer screen will not display any file information.
